By creating an account or using the Kaldo platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
2. Account Registration
To access the Service, you must create an account through our authentication provider, Clerk. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and authentication tokens
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Kaldo will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
3. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Trial
New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to the platform. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
Plans
Kaldo offers paid subscription plans including Pro and Enterprise tiers. The features, limitations, and pricing for each plan are described on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the billing cycle of your chosen plan. You agree to maintain valid and up-to-date payment information.
Billing Cycle and Renewals
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged at the then-current rate for your plan at each renewal.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
After your subscription ends or your free trial expires, your wallets and associated data (including transactions, categories, and shared wallet memberships) will be retained for six (6) months. During this grace period, you may resubscribe to restore full access. If you do not resubscribe within six months, your data will be permanently deleted.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. If we change the price of your plan, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4. User Content and Data
